Chico and Paradise Charter School Pilot Project
This section is being setup to allow communications between the students at
Volcano School of Arts and Sciences and a small group of charter schools in
Chico and Paradise in the Northern California area. One of the Chico teachers has suggested
the possibility of student blogs on the site. Others would like to have other
collaborative activities including the previously envisioned virtual field trips
and email pen pals.
We hope that through virtual tours, links, and activities it will be possible to
expand the horizons of students in both locations. The four schools expected
to join in this effort are:
Nord Country Charter School (K-6)
Chico Country Day School (K-6) (K-7 next year)
Children's Community Charter School (K-8)
Achieve Charter School of Paradise (K-5)
